Fresh from drowning a man in Skittles, they’re back, this time making videos of your thoughts. You simply write down whats on your mind, send it to the skittles call center, and they will make it into a video, and post it on your Facebook wall. Who’s going to come up with the coolest idea?!

So skittles managed to drop 1,128,500 skittles onto Mr Phoenix yesterday, after he lasted a mere ten hours, fourteen short of the target. This was the aftermath of the event, although a predicted 3.1million skittles were prepared to drop…what happened to the rest?!

Get over to the Skittles Facebook page right now to witness a man being drown by Skittles - orchestrated by the brands fans. The man, David Phoenix, originally challenged Skittles by saying “I could eat the Skittles Rainbow.” Skittles took David up on his challenge and it has resulted in a live event run via Facebook where David has been placed in a huge tank which is going to be slowly filled with Skittles. Every time someone clicks to watch the video, 40 skittles get added to the tank. The campaign aims to drive interaction with the brands consumers via social media and we love it. Go now by clicking the image and see it for yourself.
