Would you like an ice cream? Well it’ll cost you all of a smile. :) That’s right, new technology has brought you an ice cream vendor that when you come close enough recognizes your age, gender, and most importantly… if you are smiling. Its time to show off that gorgeous smile!

Warning: This is seriously weird. This ‘woman’ is actually a robot…It is so life like! If it wasn’t for the obviously robotic voice, you really would think it was a human!

Always trying to be ‘eco friendly’ but always keep forgetting? Problem solved! Wieden and Kennedy London have designed and launched ‘on off’. It is full of led and computer designs to put in your house or place of work - anywhere where electricity is used in large amounts - for you to see if you actually have been cutting down or not. This quirky idea could be big…Watch this space.

Augmented Reality Graffiti comes to Foursquare. Now you can go around legally tagging the world on your smart phone with this new app that works with Foursquare. Roll up to a wall, capture it, tag it and check-in. Then you can have a look to see who else has tagged the same spot.
Banned white iPhone 4 Promo!
They’re back…from the guys who brought us the banned video about apples antenna failure. Pretty funny once again.

Good morning, we know what you dreamt about last night…
Ok so this is not some psycho horror film but scientists of tomorrow could record the dream you had the night before! Ever wanted to fall asleep just to finish the rest of your dream off or woke up thinking what was that all about, we are imagining what it would be like if it was possible to watch your dreams back the next morning. It’s all quite technical so read more about the possibilities by clicking the image.

What do you expect from 2014? Well you can experience it here, “Experience a normal day in 2014” brought to you by “tat” a Swedish software technology and design company. Their vision is “To become a global leader in beautiful, usable, and high-performance user experiences on mobile devices.” take a look at their website and you may start to believe them -http://www.tat.se/
Nothing too insane, but quite realistic. I think we will be waiting a little longer for flying cars and holograms projected into our living rooms.

Apple announce a new Netbook version of the Macbook Air, a new Mac operating system and a new suite of iLife software - and we missed it all due to being out of the office. Bloody typical. We hear that the Macbook Air has been brought up to date with the rest of the fleet and there is now an 11 inch version going into production - we knew there was a reason why we didn’t get an iPad! They have also announced a new operating system called “Lion” (original eh?) - this system will be available in summer 2011. The most obvious new features, and the ones people are talking about are a new iPad style desktop to navigate through your applications. The other is a new “Mac App Store” which will work much like that of an iPhone - but for a Mac. Everyone is saying it is basically bringing a iOS focus to the Mac OS. It remains to be seen if this is genius or a step backward.
We arn’t important enough yet to have Apple sent us any products to mess with, smash up and review so instead we will redirect you through to Wired for further details and imminent product reviews.
Beeple is Mike Winkleman and this is one of his projects. He is a graphic designer from the USA but spends much of his time working on “art crap” in a variety of different media. His work has been featured in the likes of Wired and he encourages you to do “what ever the fuck you want” with it, as long as you link back to him - so Mike, we are posting some of your work and linking back.

Augmented Reality to start off the day…and this example is pretty nifty! And you can mess with it on your iPhone - as per usual! Android too probably if your lucky. You know we love AR and QR and what not so we won’t bang on about it. Now, stop scrawling through TCC and get back to work!
Father and son launch iPhone where no iPhone has gone before. Luke Geissbuhler’s quest with his son to launch an iPhone 4 and HD video camera into space using a weather balloon has produced an absolutely breathtaking video documentary. The Brookly-based cinematographer and his son Max’s contraption climbed at a rate of 25 feet per second and in an hour was 19 miles high. The journey lasted around 72 minutes and captured some breathtaking footage of the earth.
The balloon battled 100 m.p.h. winds before it burst, sending the iPhone hurling back to earth at 150 m.p.h. Fortunately, the specially designed parachute deployed and slowed the plummeting device down to just 15 m.p.h. They tracked the package using the iPhones GPS transmitter and it was found 30 miles from its launch pad.
“Max and I work on all sorts of fun projects together” said Geissbuhler. “I’ve always been one to tinker. But even after months of research and testing – we only had a 30 percent chance it would work. We got very lucky…We were totally out of our minds when we saw the footage. It was more than we were even hoping for.”
This is defiantly one of the coolest amateur science experiments ive come across. Period.

Projeqt is the new way to tell great stories - and we love it! Yesterday, in our Memory Monday post we mentioned that TBWA had launched a new website…well, it is run by Projeqt and is a really clean and simple way of displaying the agencies great work. We love this new platform and we can’t wait to start experimenting with it ourselves. When we have something to share with you, we will. Until then go and check it out for yourselves!
Choose a square on a grid and predict the time and date that it will rain - oh and win yourself a tenner for your cunning. Walkers have teamed up with Google to bring you the Rainy Days campaign. Users choose a square on an interactive map which represents a particular 4s/km of land and predict the time and date it will next rain. Really great interactive campaign by Walkers - but an expensive one due to how often it rains in the UK.
