Tweet It - a parody of Micheal Jackson’s “Beat It” and it is brilliant. We are a little late picking up this one but sod, just enjoy it!
The new Old Spice adverts…Seseme Street style! Forget old spice, smell like a monster instead! I am on a horse…cow. Pretty funny!
Alex Dobbing for The Cool Commentator.
Remember all those flashmobs that struck a while ago? Well E4 are taking them on, and totally smashing them in our opinion. Enjoy.
Warburtons new emotional advert reflects the dedication Warburtons place in baking every single loaf. As tragic news passes through the factory, employees from all around stop what they are doing to turn in sadness to witness what has happened: A solitary loaf of bread has unfortunately perished during the baking process. Its a sad moment, perhaps even worse than when Bonnie and Clyde were mown down, as we watch the loaf of bread being covered by a white sheet and wheeled away. Lets just hope the loaf went on to a happy place and isn’t going to feed the ducks…
Jerry Clark for The Cool Commentator.
This one might be a little more for the ladies. Everyone knows Trinny and Susannah and many (apperently) love them so here is a taster of their new online comedy that The Guardian claims is part Alan Partridge, part The Office, part The Thick of It - could be good, you decide. What do you think?
More Manmercials to make you laugh. Yesterday you saw the new Manmercial from the new Old Spice campaign that talks to the woman…well here is the ad that talks to the man. Did you know? Well, you will once you have watched this video. I challenge you to NOT laugh out loud.
You laughed out loud didn’t you?
Manmercials are making waves! Old Spice, the Procter & Gamble scent range for men, is going through a makeover, with the launch of a fresh online store and “Manmercials”, the Youtube channel. “Smell like a Man, Man”, introduces an African American actor, Isaiah Mustafa, to the range of Old Spice spokesmen, targeting both women and men. “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like” begins with a compare and contrast exercise, talking to the ladies. “Did You Know” is for the men, with the question, “Did you know that women prefer Old Spice?”.
Demetri Martin - Large Pad! Watch this…it is hilarious and the first I have heard/seen of this comedian! I’m going to be checking out a lot more of his work. This whole sketch makes me think about brainstorming on creative briefs for advertising and how I approach the process. Maybe a dose of thinking this random could really develop some interesting ideas during a brainstorm, or even before or after?
