Surely one of the more spectacular advent calendars of the year comes from the wonderful “Big Picture” who showcase some of the best photography of global events. Every Christmas they team up with the Hubble Space Program team to exhibit some of the best photographs taken by their Space Telescope, in the form of an advent calendar (you can find links to past advent calendars from the page provided).
