The use of Twitter is rewriting the book, literally! The guys at Loducca, Brazil have come up with a nice way to promote the newest release from the international best selling author Paulo Coelho, The Aleph. It’s called ‘AlephTweets’. The basic jist is Loducca used software that combined tweets from all over the world with the words of The Aleph. These tweets are then displayed on a website which, ‘rewrites’ the book in real-time word by word. It’s a really nice concept especially when you look a little deeper…
‘The Aleph’ means the ‘the point where time and space converge’, which was experienced in an epiphany Coelho had whilst crossing Asia on the Transiberian train (which travels through 7 different time zones). This moment of sudden revelation is nicely integrated into a twitter campaign, by using real-‘time’ tweets and placing them into a ‘space’ where everyone can read. Soo much depth and meaning man…
